Banqiang is divided into two major systems: "Bangzi" and "Erhuang". This session will introduce and demonstrate Bangzi Adagio, including flat, sub-throat Bangzi Adagio, and Baqiang Bangzi Adagio. Bangzi Adagio, also known as "Shigong Adagio", has several singing styles: Ping, Zi, Ba, Roudai Zuo and He Diao. In the sentence pattern of Bangzi Adagio, a four-character activity sentence can be added between the second and third beats, usually one board and three dings.
