In Cantonese Opera, we have a saying which is "You sing Bongzi (梆子) when you win, you sing Yiwong (二黃)when you lose". Today we are going to talk about “Yeewong” (二黃). “Yeewong” is one with a more deserted, dismay feel of tone. This episode would talk about Yiwong Laushuiban (二黄流水板), also know as YiLau (二流). In this episode, artistic directors Mr Law Ka-ying and Ms TTang Mei-ling picked Fast Yilau (快二流), Yuanyang Yilau (鴛鴦二流) and Yangzhou Yilau (楊州二流) for demonstration.
