Episode 30 Acrobatics: Nampai (Southern) Style (1) Sau Kiu手橋 (Hand Bridge)

In this episode, we will demonstrate Sau Kiu (手橋). As an unarmed combat skill, Nampai Sau Kiu (南派手橋) emphasizes the strength of Kiu Sau (the bridge hand), Jiu Ma(the waistand the legs). The moves have to be precise and crisp. When fighting with each other, coordination is required for the actors have to hit hard,in order to present the fierceness a fighting scene of martial arts. By transforming and adopting the fighting technique in the stage as a performance, it is one of the characteristics in the Kung Fu scenes in traditional Cantonese opera.
